Talks and Presentations.


Ron Cousens, the B.C.N.S Talks & Presentations officer will be pleased to visit your group or society and give an illustrated presentation about the Birmingham Canal Navigations

Ron has been involved with the B.C.N.S since 1972. He is a past President and Chairman of the Society and is currently a Vice-President.

The standard talk is entitled "Birmingham & Black Country Canals" and is fully illustrated with slides. Previous presentations have been to the Friends of Ironbridge, The Genealogical Society of London, plus various branches of the Inland Waterways Association, National Trust and the Woman's Institute. The talk can be tailored to meet different requirements

All that is requested is Ron's expenses and a donation to the B.C.N.S

Allens Register Rally

Thrupp Cruising Club: Oxford Canal: 18th to 20th August 2006 (This year BCNS not involved)

Week before IWA National 25th to 28th August at Beale Park on the Thames, so boats enroute why not stop for a while.
